SPECIALIST TUTORING uses techniques based on your child's needs, boosting memory, understanding and engagement. MENTORING reduces the pressure on you as parents. It gives your child a consistent check-in point with a specialist to discuss their learning, restore motivation and set practical targets for the week or month ahead. SEN ADVICE: Contact me with your predicament and for an initial chat, without charge or obligation. Advice sessions are by Zoom or phone, lasting 30, 45 or 60 minutes. I can also explain why your child is struggling and develop a Learner Profile for your child, helping them - and you - cope with the demands of education. Even with a diagnosis, paperwork and process can be overwhelming or you can feel that your views have not been taken into account. Strategies in your child's report may have timed out developmentally and need updating. As a former SENCo, assessor and teacher, I can guide you on your next steps and give you my assessment of your situation.
